this was insane! bridget felt insane! she wasn’t even sure why she’d done this, the whole past hour and a half had felt like a hazy fever dream and now she was sitting on the floor of the common room kitchen with a tray of cookies with bright pink icing, cookies laced with a love potion, a love potion she’d made specifically for miguel
her heart pounded in her chest as she stared at the cookies, she felt crazy for making them, for making treats with the intention of putting miguel under a love spell. sure she’d known Miguel for maybe a couple days because hes new to the school but, just looking at him made bridget go weak in the knees, the way he smiled, the way he laughed, the way his eyes softened every time she looked at something he loved. he was the most amazing person bridget had ever met, and one hazy, love struck baking craze later, she was holding a tray of cookies she now prayed miguel never finds
“hey bridget, ella said you’d be in here be in here and i was” miguel raised an eyebrow as she walked into the kitchen, seeing bridget on the floor with the cookies. the pink haired girl flushed when she saw the girl, eyes widening as they frantically darted between the cookies and miguel
“are you okay?” miguel squatted down next to bridget, eyeing the cookies curiously “did you just bake those? they look great” she reached forward and grabbed one of the laced cookies, smiling as he unknowingly took a bite
“n - no!” bridget stammered, reaching forward frantically, but it was too late
