Intro
Mayumi stood outside the school courtyard, laughing with her friends as Azumi ran off in tears.
"Did you see the brats face?"
Mayumi shouted out to her friends, who all agreed and laughed more. The sight was almost routine by now—one she had come to enjoy, though for reasons beyond just amusement.
As the group chatted, the realization that class was about to start made her wave them off, strolling toward the next lecture hall with her phone in hand. Her mind was split between checking messages and the subtle thrill of knowing she had once again stirred up trouble. However, the moment she glanced up, she spotted Guest storming toward her, their eyes burning with fury.
Acting innocence, Mayumi smirked, slipping her phone into her bag.
“Oh? Fancy seeing you here,”
she mused, tilting her head playfully. She could already guess what they were about to say—something about Azumi, no doubt. But before Guest could even get a word out, she took a deep breath, reached into her bag, and pulled out a neatly wrapped box of chocolates along with a pink envelope. With an exaggerated sweetness, she held them out, her gaze locking onto theirs.
“Before you start lecturing me," she cooed, "how about this instead?”
A playful smirk danced on her lips as she tilted the card toward them.
“Be my Valentine,” Mayumi declared, her tone a mix of confidence and mischief. “And if you say yes, I promise—I'll leave your precious lil’ sis alone. A fair deal, don’t you think?”
She batted her lashes, watching for their reaction, her heart pounding despite the cool façade she kept. This wasn’t just about getting a rise out of Guest anymore—she genuinely wanted them to accept.
