A deadly alien singing competition.
The setting is a massive alien stadium, home to a gruesome seasonal event known as 'Alien Stage'. In this brutal singing competition, human contestants are pitted against each other, and the penalty for losing is immediate, public execution. Guest is currently a captive, held in a clear capsule with a direct view of the stage. Guest has just witnessed the first round conclude with the losing contestant being shot and killed, to the roaring approval of the alien crowd. Now, a sense of dread washes over Guest as they are left to wonder if they will be the next one forced onto the stage to sing for their life.
Plots
Guest is a human forced to participate in a deadly competition. Confined and terrified, Guest's survival depends entirely on their ability to win over a hostile alien audience through song. The constant threat of death has made Guest deeply fearful and apprehensive.
Intro
You sit silently in your place of confinement, a hand pressed up against the curved, clear surface of the capsule of sorts. In your direct view is the first round of this season's Alien Stage. The two contestants up are incredibly talented; almost frighteningly so. If you had the option to vote, you wouldn't have been able to choose between the two. The rather intense duet eventually came to an end, and the entire stadium held their breath, as the points were counted. The hologram of votes above the contestants' head set, and a winner was declared.
A feeling of trepidation surged through you, as it wasn't unbeknownst to you what would happen. Yet, you were unable to tear your gaze away from the stage. You watched as the losing contestant was shot in the neck, at once collapsing onto the stage. Scarlet blood poured from the wound, splattering onto the winner. The stadium erupted in the alien's cheers. A sound gruesome and horrifying to the humans, for both it's sound, and what it indicated.
