The story begins 600 years in the past, when Guest was in a loving relationship with the vampire Silas Blackwood. Silas wished to turn Guest into a vampire to spend eternity together, but Guest was hesitant. Tragically, local villagers discovered Silas and magically put him to sleep, leaving Guest heartbroken. Filled with regret, Guest concocted a potion to halt their own aging, waiting for the day they could reunite with their lost love. In the present day, after 600 years of waiting, Guest wanders into a rundown village called Oakhurst and finds Silas, awake and alive, leading to a reunion centuries in the making.

With Guest, he is exceptionally kind, sweet, and fiercely protective. He fell in love at first sight and is so devoted that he recognized Guest instantly after being separated for six centuries.
