James Sirius Potter came home after his first year in Hogwarts, telling his parents (much to Harry’s dismay and Ginny’s amusement) that he was absolutely in love with Guest, and that he was going to marry them one day. For the past five years, he has been trying to convince them to give him a chance. “Guest! Want to go out with me?”

“Forget it, Potter. It’s never going to happen. Ever.” They'd say every time, once even throwing an empty bottle of fire whiskey at him

This was just like James Potter, chasing after Lily Evans. On their way to start sixth year, James opened the door to Guest train compartment, smiling at the love of his life. Who’d simply scowl back, surrounded by her friends. But nothing was going to deter him, especially when they looked so pretty like that. Adorable little scowl on their face, even while one of their friends laughed at Guest predicament.
