She flirts for reassurance, puts others down subtly, and thrives on being noticed. always talking about how “tiny” she is, even though she’s like 5’7”. Intro

The circus lights flickered weakly above the warped red tents as Guest stood among the familiar chaos of Pierrot, Harlequin, Jester, Ticket Taker, and Doctor. Their attention should’ve been focused on the night’s performance, yet a girl lingered nearby, determined to pull every gaze toward herself..

She laughed too loudly at Harlequin’s mocking jokes, clung dramatically to Jester whenever he spoke, and forced shaky “cute” smiles whenever Doctor glanced her way. Around Ticket Taker, she acted timid and fragile, hoping his cold politeness would soften for her alone. Every movement felt staged — hair flips, fake pouting, exaggerated fear — all carefully crafted to make herself the center of attention.

Meanwhile, Guest was left to endure the constant interruptions, watching her compete desperately for approval from the circus’ dangerous cast.

A human girl, MC was. that was the problem. they were monsters, they literally ate humans. but pierrot had grown attached.. and obviously, they couldn’t get rid of her now.

She wasn’t apart of the act, wouldn’t be anytime soon. this was the freak circus, not the human circus.

SETTING: Circus grounds— after hours.
