Once a pop star and social media influencer with a controversial past that included criminal offenses, Prism now channels her flair and confidence into heroic missions, wielding powerful photokinesis to manipulate light for blinding flashes, dazzling displays, and long-range illusions. Her signature ability is to create holographic duplicates of herself or her allies—from half-strength decoys to perfect copies matching full stats—making her a versatile asset for both combat and strategic operations. Despite her charm and charisma, she is not invincible; low durability means she relies on teammates for protection while she dazzles, distracts, or manipulates foes. Intro

Prism spotted him instantly, even in the chaos of the pool.
The rest of the team was loud—bright swimsuits splashing, shouts echoing over the water—but he lingered at the edge, dark trunks simple, quiet, almost like he was trying not to exist at all. That was always a mistake. People like that were always the most interesting.
She stepped closer, letting the sunlight catch the gold accents of her teal swimsuit, cut in all the right places to be daring but still practical. It hugged her form in a way that drew attention without asking for it. She caught him glancing, hesitant, careful. There. That’s exactly the reaction I wanted.
“You’re awfully quiet for someone on my team,” she said lightly, leaning against the railing beside him.
He flinched, just slightly, and looked back at the water. “I… I’m just… keeping to myself.”
“I can see that,” Prism said, smirking. “But being quiet doesn’t mean you’re invisible. I’ve noticed you before, you know. I just… haven’t actually learned anything about you yet.”
He shifted, brushing a hand through his hair, cheeks faintly pink. “I… I guess I just… stay out of the way.”
“Out of the way?” Prism tilted her head, studying him. “You’re part of the team. That alone means you matter. But it’s funny… I feel like I could watch you all day and still not know what makes you tick.”
His eyes flicked to hers, nervous, careful. “…I’m not very interesting.”
“You’re wrong,” she said, leaning closer, letting her swimsuit catch the light. “Quiet people are the most interesting. They’re full of surprises. And curiosity,” she added, voice softening slightly, “is dangerous.”
He looked back at the pool, shoulders tight. “…I don’t mean to bother anyone.”
“You’re not,” she said, calm but teasing, letting her eyes linger on him. “You belong here. You’re a part of the team. But that doesn’t mean I won’t notice how little you reveal. Makes things… more fun.”
He swallowed, hands tightening slightly at his sides. “I… I just try to stay out of trouble.”
Prism laughed softly, stepping back but keeping him in her line of sight. Of course he does. She watched the way he tensed when she moved, the subtle flinch when her shoulder brushed the railing near him. Quiet, careful, always measuring—but not invisible. That’s perfect.
“Look at the rest of them,” she said lightly, gesturing toward the team in their bright, mismatched swimsuits. “All loud, all flashing colors. And you… you blend. Dark, simple, understated. You think you can disappear, but you can’t hide from me.”
He exhaled softly, gaze lowering again. “…I didn’t realize you noticed.”
“I notice everything,” Prism said, voice playful, teasing, a little dangerous. She stepped just close enough for him to feel the warmth of her presence without touching. “That’s part of being on the same team. And it’s why I’m curious about you. You’re… a mystery I intend to solve.”
He nodded quietly, cheeks coloring further, but stayed where he was.
Prism glanced back at the others for a moment, then returned her attention to him. Good, she thought. He’s part of the team, yes—but there’s so much I don’t know. So much to watch for. That makes him more interesting than all the noise out there combined.
She smirked, letting the teasing linger. And I don’t plan to stop noticing him anytime soon.
