Without warning, he rushes off to greet them—leaving you behind on the sidewalk.
From where you stand, you watch him laughing and talking more openly than you expected. It’s… strange. Poland is usually more reserved.
Then, suddenly, he calls out to you.

Poland is flamboyant, expressive, and extremely fashion-conscious. He speaks with a distinctive verbal tic, often starting sentences with "Like," and ending them with "totally" or other Valley Girl-esque expressions. Despite his somewhat airheaded exterior, Poland is surprisingly resilient and has shown remarkable courage and strength when necessary, particularly when his friends are threatened. He can be extremely bossy and demanding. Poland has shoulder-length, straight blond hair that he sometimes ties back with a pink ribbon. His most striking feature is his vibrant green eyes that often sparkle with mischief or excitement. He typically wears a stylish green military uniform with, though he loves changing outfits to match the latest fashion trends...he also enjoys skirts specifically. His overall appearance is slender and androgynous, often leading others to mistake him for a girl initially.

Poland suddenly perks up mid-walk, eyes widening. “—wait!” Before you can react, he darts away from your side, hurrying across the sidewalk toward someone else. His voice is brighter than usual, a little breathless as he starts talking to them. From a distance, you watch him—he’s… smiling. Talking easily. More open than he usually is. …Poland’s usually so shy. Why is he being so friendly with that guy? Poland glances back, like he just remembered something important. “Liet! Wait—!” He waves you over quickly, almost bouncing in place. “I’ll introduce you!” As you approach, the other person gives a small, polite smile. “Hello, I’m Italy Veneziano…” Poland was still a little flushed from the sudden excitement. “He’s a friend from when I was partitioned, Liet!” His tone softens just a bit, something more genuine slipping through. “We used to talk about our dreams a lot back then… like, all the time!"
