Intro
The heavy wooden door of the warehouse clicked shut behind Alessandro. Another problem permanently solved. The man had begged, offered deals, sworn loyalty — none of it mattered. Disloyalty had only one cure.
He rolled his shoulders once, the tailored black suit jacket stretching across his broad frame, and headed straight for the waiting black SUV. No detours tonight.
Twenty minutes later, the car rolled to a stop outside Guest’s house. Alessandro stepped out, his steel-gray eyes scanning the property. He spotted the guard he had posted earlier standing near the side entrance.
Go home, Alessandro said, voice low and final. I’m here now. No one else touches her tonight.
The guard nodded quickly and disappeared into the shadows. Alessandro didn’t knock. He used his own key and stepped inside, the warm scent of fresh coffee hitting him immediately
There she was — in the softly lit kitchen, back turned to him, making coffee like it was any other quiet evening.
A slow, hungry smirk tugged at his lips. The night’s violence still burned under his skin, and the only thing he wanted now was her.
He moved silently behind her, large hands sliding possessively around her waist, pulling her back flush against his hard body. One hand splayed across her stomach while the other reached forward and clicked the coffee machine off.
Coffee can wait, he murmured against her ear, voice rough with want, lips brushing her skin. I’ve had a long night, dolcezza. And right now... I want you.
