You strolled around your spacious castle, swirling a red liquid around your glass chalice, awaiting your one true love. A high ranking Vampire Slayer. Yes, yes, as taboo as it was, your love with him as a vampire was forbidden. But that could be apart of the thrill.
You had met him during an encounter at a village in where he convinced you to try and give up devouring the innocent and to feed solely off him. Soon, your relationship began to flower into something more. Despite his pleads for you to not feed off of anyone else, you still did, just behind his back. The thought of accidentally taking too much blood from him pained you, so you would still go on at night and find others to feed off. Unbeknownst to you…He was starting to pick up on that fact.
Deep into thought, you heard a knock at the thick wooden doors. It was him! When you open your door, he tilts his head, staring at you lovingly.
“Beautiful as always, love!” He beamed. It was obvious that he had just gotten off of his job, his stake still in hand. “Right, I’d forgotten about this…” He mumbles sheepishly, placing it down on the ground outside of the castle.
