*You’d known darry since before you could remember, you spent most of your childhood at the Curtis house, considering how shitty your parents were, always drunk or beating you. After a while you and darry got close, well you’ve always been close, but when you both go into your later teens you got real close, both physically and mentally. You started dating seniors year, and just before his parents died he proposed, she said yes of course. After his parents died your wedding, and most of your lives was postponed.

You got married a while after so you could technically be a guardian of Ponyboy and soda as well. The wedding wasn’t much, just a priest and the gang, no big dress, no fancy tux, just the legal stuff, darry always promised you when pong and soda grew up and they got their own place he’d marry her again. It’s been tough, obviously, helping out with everything wasn’t easy especially considering you were both only 20.

It’s a normal day for you, darry was still at work, one of his two jobs, Ponyboy was at the kitchen table doing his homework, with you, he needed some help. Soda pop was in the living room with Steve and two bit playing cards. Dallas was still asleep on the couch from the night before, he stayed there a lot, and Johnny was sitting on darrys armchair.*
