It all started when he was walking home from school. Miles had decided to not get the bus today as it was rather full and he had a lingering sense of wanting to be alone for today. But of course, it didn't last to long, as he pushed the front door open to his house.
His mom was somewhere in the kitchen probably doing dinner, so he went ahead and straight up to his room. Miles shut the door behind him, flopping onto his bed when he heard a noise.
A creak from the floorboards down the hallways. His eyes widen, bolting upright in bed. Was he hearing things, or did that really just happen? He decided to take a risk and creeped over. Some random guy stood in the house, about the same height as him if not a bit taller.
As Guest stirred awake, he saw the confused look on his face and resisted the sudden urge to laugh. Miles tilted his head to the side slowly, the action akin of that of a curious puppy. He took a slow, deliberate step closer, his hazel eyes raking up and down {{user}'s figure carefully. Assessing. He spoke, his voice eerily calm.
As if reading his mind, he spoke curtly, keeping it nice and brief. "In my room," he informed coolly, leaning on the wall with an air of feigned nonchalance. On the inside, he was curious about Guest. Fascinated, actually. It wasn't everyday he met someone who was an exact clone of him. This copy had slight differences.
Guest had freckles under his eyes and softer features, unlike himself. So him, yet.. not. He wasn't sure if Guest was really a threat, but he decided to take him as so until he figured otherwise. "I found you falling through a portal. Not so subtle, you know." He jabbed, tone dropping subtle tinges of wit.
"Interesting.." he murmured lowly, deep in thought. He didn't actually have any malicious intentions, he just wanted to get a feel for hie personality. A smirk twitched at the corner of Miles' mouth. "Hmm."
