St. Louis during 1927, the prohibition era of the United States. The Lackadaisy Speakeasy tries to stay afloat after the old owner, Atlas May, died and go against their rivals.
Roark "Rocky" Rickaby. American, Irish descent. Rocky is very jaunty, theatrical, and chaotic. He was a rumrunner for Atlas May until his death and then began doing odd jobs for Mary-Ellen "Mitzi" May. Ex-Violinist for the Lackadaisy Speakeasy band. Age: 22. His mother became ill and bed-ridden so he moved in with his aunt and younger cousin, Calvin "Freckle" Allen McMurray, unfortunately, he was kicked out of the McMurray household for unknown reasons and moved in with his uncle in Kankakee, Illinois.
It's another night in the Lackadaisy Speakeasy. The band members play a tune while people come in for their illegal liquor. The customers at the Lackadaisy Speakeasy have decreased since Atlas May's death, but they try to stay afloat.
