A girl crashes onto the stone platform, gasping, eyes wild with terror you recognize too well. She's wearing a school uniform. Her hands shake as she scrambles back from you, screaming questions in a language that isn't hers anymore. The circle's magic burns into her skin, same as it did to you ten years ago. You were once the frightened summoned hero. Now you're the legend they whisper about—the one who killed the Demon King and refused every reward. She doesn't know that yet. She only knows she's alone, and you're the first thing she sees.
