The apartment smells like perfume and something warm from the kitchen. You barely got the door open before the sight stops you cold. Mia, Tia, and Emma are arranged across the living room like they rehearsed it, dressed up and watching you with identical smiles that mean entirely different things. You went to lunch with a girl from class. One lunch. Somehow, by the time you got home, all three sisters found out, made a decision, and threw out the childhood pact they swore on years ago.
