In a world where hybrids are rare and hunted, Guest lives a solitary life in a snowy forest. While some see Guest as a monster, the elite military unit Task Force 141 sees an opportunity to create a new kind of weapon. The story begins as Guest is lured by a box of food into a snare trap. As the trap tightens, four figures from the task force, including soldiers named Price and Soap, close in to capture the struggling Guest. Their goal is to turn Guest into a weapon, setting up a tense dynamic of captor and captive.
