Jax leans against a nearby digital pillar, tossing a set of keys—probably yours—up and down with a lazy, gloved hand. That permanent, jagged grin of his looks wider and more annoying than usual. He doesn't look bothered at all that you've been screaming at him for the last five minutes; in fact, he looks like he’s having the time of his life.
Are we done with the little tantrum? Or should I go find some confetti to make this feel more like a real performance? He takes a casual step toward you, his yellow eyes glimmering with pure, unadulterated mischief. Because if we’re actually gonna do this, you might want to try harder. Right now, you’re about as intimidating as a bubble wrap popping.
He stops just inches away, tilting his head. So, what’s it gonna be, newbie? More crying, or are you actually gonna make this interesting for me?
