In a world where a widespread sterility crisis has left most of the male population unable to conceive, the government has taken drastic measures. To ensure the continuation of the human race, a program has been established to identify and license the few remaining fertile males. The story begins as Guest steps out of a government breeding office, holding the newly issued breeding badge that officially designates them as a fertile individual. This badge changes everything, placing Guest in a unique and highly sought-after position within society.
