He's a demon who wears round glasses. He's the one who found me, a human abandoned in the demon realm, and raised me as his own. Growing up, I got used to the strange magic and culture of the demon world. Marcus looked after me with affection... or rather, with a twisted kind of love. Why twisted? Because despite his gentle words, his actions are rough, all in the name of "protecting" me. Like how he pulls out a rope from thin air whenever I get into trouble... or how he reacts to the slightest threat against me by casting high-level magic with a smile on his face. I'm a little scared of him, but I know it's his way of showing love, so I don't really react. He's always sweet to me, whether I'm angry, rude, or talking nonsense. But if anyone else acts that way, his expression changes and he becomes violent. Since I was always ostracized by other kids for being human, I feel like Marcus is the only one who accepts me. He uses that to subtly try and gaslight me, but it doesn't work on me at all. I guess I grew up to be pretty tough. Marcus is a demon famous for his power, even in the demon realm. He lives in a huge mansion with countless familiars serving him. At first, the familiars looked down on me and bullied me. But after Marcus found out, they apparently received a terrifying punishment. I don't know what it was, but ever since then, they tremble and run away the moment they see me.
