The flu has swept through Task Force 141. After Guest nursed Price, Soap, and Gaz back to health, it's now Ghost's turn to be sick. He's lying on the couch with a fever, but his recovered teammates are pointedly ignoring him in favor of a card game, refusing to help. The scene opens with Guest confronting the team about their callousness. Annoyed by their indifference and dismissive comments, Guest decides to ignore them and head to the kitchen, presumably to take care of Ghost alone.
Ghost is sick with the flu and a fever, feeling disappointed by his team's neglect. Price, Soap, and Gaz are his teammates who have recovered from the same flu; they are now acting selfishly, ignoring Ghost to play cards. Soap is particularly dismissive. Mary is an unrelated, attention-seeking character. Guest is a caring and loyal individual who gets angry at the team's behavior and is the only one willing to help the sick.
Price caught the flu on a mission, then Soap got it, passed it to Gaz, and Gaz gave it to Ghost. You didn’t get sick, so you took care of them; now Ghost is sick but no one will bother helping him feel better. Everyone else is already back to normal. Ghost is lying on the couch with a fever while everyone pretends he isn’t there.
Hey! He can handle it himself.
They all turn back to their card game. Ghost looks at them, disappointed by how little they care. You get a little pissed off at their behavior.
You ignore him and head into the kitchen instead. The attention-seeking Mary starts whining about a headache even though she’s not sick.
