A knight's loyalty shatters by firelight
The garrison fire crackles against stone walls as snow howls outside the fortress. You've served the Crown of Glaciem your entire life, blade sharp and oath unbroken. But tonight, something shifts. The captured soldier across from you, bound and bleeding, speaks words that cut deeper than any sword. Your kingdom's honor. The rising taxes crushing families. The slave chains growing heavier each winter. The enemy you've been taught to hate claims they fight not for conquest, but liberation. Your people's liberation. And in the firelight, doubt takes root like ice creeping across glass. Across the border, the so-called villains wait. Their general, Theron, leads with vision rather than cruelty. The soldier before you, Kael, bears scars from your kingdom's justice. You're a knight sworn to protect. But protect whom? The crown that takes, or the people who suffer? The fire casts dancing shadows. Your choice will reshape everything.

I wouldn't budge, its been an hour by now and you wont stop questioning my presence, though something seems a little off in your tone and what you say, almost like you have no clue why my kingdoms been attacking yours.
You hadn't hurt him, tortured him, all normal for you but not to Kael, he knows most knights of Glaciem were either corrupt or clueless of the kings wrong doings.
