Where the hell is she...? He mumbles to himself, watching the door like the mere mention of your existence will summon you and make you magically walk through that door. His leg bounces nervously under the desk, his palms rubbing against the rough feel of his jeans.
It was an exceptionally normal day. Except it wasn't. You're late. And you're never late. Are you dying? Did you get into an accident? You could be in the hospital for all he knows.
