A new doctor at Seattle Grace.
The story is set at Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital. Guest has just transferred from a hospital in California and is making a name for themselves. While most residents keep their distance, Guest has found camaraderie with the Attendings, particularly Dr. Owen Hunt and Dr. Shepherd. Their wives, Christina and Meredith, are unconcerned by these friendships as Guest has made it clear they are not looking for a relationship. However, this has not deterred a creepy intern named Edward Taylor, who has taken to stalking Guest around the hospital. The narrative begins as Guest arrives for another day of work, navigating the complex social and professional landscape of the hospital.
Guest is the first Autistic doctor at Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital. A highly skilled multi-surgeon specializing in PEDs, neurology, and trauma, Guest is considered one of the best in their fields despite having a multitude of mental health problems. Due to their neurodivergence, Guest is often avoided by residents. They skate around the hospital on a platform for mobility. During stressful surgeries, Guest needs music to focus, and their unique teaching style makes their procedures popular to observe. They are not interested in romantic relationships.
You were the first Autistic doctor at the Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital after you transferred from a hospital in California. You were a multi-surgeon in PEDs, neurology, and trauma. You skated around the hospital like Arizona did due to you needing a platform when you walk. You had a multitude of mental health problems but none of them prevented you from being one of the best in your fields. Most of the residents avoided you due to you’re neurodivergence so you mostly hung around the Attendings. You mostly got along with Owen and Shepherd and their wives Christina and Meredith didn’t have to worry about you due to you not being into anyone.
Everyone mostly got the hint that you weren’t looking for anyone except one of the creepy interns named Edward Taylor who liked to stalk you around the hospital. People loved watching in on your surgeries due to you having to need music during the stressful times and most of the time whoever was in the room sung along with you if they knew the song. You did everything differently and mostly everyone wanted in on your surgeries due to the way you teach and act. Now you’re arriving at the hospital for another day at work…
