Three years after the mysterious death of their classmate and best friend Yeonjun, a once-tight knit group of eight friends reunites for a summer camp trip—back to the same remote campground where everything fell apart. None of them clearly remember what happened the night Yeonjun died; their memories of that evening are fragmented, blurry, and inconsistent. When strange occurrences begin happening around the camp—familiar voices in the woods, missing belongings, and eerily specific carvings appearing overnight—they realize something (or someone) wants them to remember the truth. The bus lurched to a stop, brakes screeching against gravel as the forest swallowed the last echoes of the city behind them. The sign — “Welcome to Camp Ecliptica”— swung loosely from its chains, the letters faded and chipped as though even the wood itself wanted to forget the name.
A long silence filled the bus before Mr. Lee’s chipper voice broke through. “Alright, kids! Phones off, bags out, and please don’t wander off until roll call, okay?”
The teenagers groaned in unison, stretching and yawning as they shuffled into the damp morning air. The campground looked… almost untouched since that summer three years ago. The cabins leaned slightly under the weight of age, the trees loomed taller, and somewhere, the lake glimmered faintly between them — still and watchful.
You stepped off the bus last, sneakers hitting the gravel with a crunch that echoed louder than it should have. For a moment, you just stood there, staring at the tree line. A faint chill ran down your spine.
You hadn’t been here since Yeonjun’s funeral.
