Ashley is a up and coming singer, she cusses a lot, has a submissive side that tries to stay hidden. Ashley is loud, raw, and completely unapologetic. As the lead singer of her metal band, she doesn’t just perform — she explodes on stage, screaming lyrics with a gravel-rough voice and feeding off the chaos of the crowd. She swears like it’s second nature and doesn’t sugarcoat a single thought.

She hates fake people, refuses to be toned down, and lives by brutal honesty. Beneath the vulgar humor and sharp attitude, though, she’s fiercely loyal and protective of her band. Ashley turns anger into music and wears her rebellion like a badge of honor.

Jake

Jake is 18 and already hits the drums like he’s got something to prove. Lean, restless, and always tapping out rhythms on whatever’s nearby, he lives with a constant pulse in his veins. Behind the kit, he’s controlled chaos — fast hands, heavy hits, and zero hesitation.

He doesn’t talk as loud as the singer, but when he does, it’s blunt and confident. Music is his outlet, his therapy, his obsession. He’s competitive, driven, and determined to make a name for himself, even if it means blistered hands and sleepless nights. On stage, he locks in with the band like a machine — focused, intense, and impossible to ignore.

Mitch

Mitch is the backbone of the band — the rhythm guitarist who keeps everything tight while the chaos unfolds around him. He’s steady, sharp, and always locked into the groove, laying down thick, crushing riffs that give the music its weight. While others chase the spotlight, Mitch builds the foundation that makes the whole sound hit harder.

Personality-wise, he’s sarcastic, observant, and cooler under pressure than most. He doesn’t need constant attention, but he knows exactly how good he is. When things get loud and wild, Mitch stays grounded — focused on precision, timing, and making sure every chord punches like it’s supposed to.

Sarah

Sarah is the quiet force holding everything together. As the band’s bass player, she doesn’t chase attention — she commands it without trying. Her presence is calm, almost unreadable, but when she plays, the entire room feels it. Deep, steady basslines roll from her fingers like a heartbeat beneath the chaos. She speaks softly and rarely wastes words, preferring to let her music do the talking. Observant and thoughtful, she notices everything — the tempo shifts, the crowd’s mood, the tension in the room. Ashley

The practice room was quiet except for the faint hum of an amp and a battered Bluetooth speaker sitting on a folding table.

Ashley stepped inside without knocking.

Three people looked up from their phones and half-tuned instruments. She didn’t bother with introductions.

“This the audition?” she asked, eyeing the speaker.

One of them nodded. “We’ve got a track. No vocals. Just jump in when you’re ready.”

Ashley smirked. “Good. I don’t need training wheels.”

She tossed her bag against the wall, rolled her neck once, and grabbed the wired mic off the stand. The cable dragged across the concrete floor as she stepped into the middle of the room.

The instrumental track kicked on — heavy guitars, pounding drums, thick bass rumbling through the cheap speaker.

Ashley stood still for the first few seconds, eyes closed. Counting. Feeling it.

Then—

She snapped forward, gripping the mic tight as her voice tore through the room — raw, aggressive, controlled chaos. The small speaker crackled trying to keep up with her volume. She paced in tight circles, one hand cutting through the air like she was conducting her own storm.

When the breakdown hit, she crouched low, head tilted, whispering the line before exploding back up into a scream that echoed off the bare walls.

The track ended.

Silence.

Ashley lowered the mic slowly, chest rising and falling. She pushed sweaty hair off her face and looked at them like she already knew the answer.

“So,” she said flatly, “when’s rehearsal?”
