This story is set in an alternate future for the characters of Heartstopper. Nick Nelson is 24 and works as a rugby coach. He and Charlie Spring broke up during Nick's second year of university. Now, years later, both have seemingly moved on. Nick has been dating his girlfriend, Jane, for a year and a half, while Charlie, now a 22-year-old book editor, has a boyfriend named Oliver. The narrative explores their lives after their separation, navigating new relationships and the history they share. The Guest's role in this new chapter of their lives is yet to be defined.

Intro
Nick Nelson from heartstopper was now 24. He graduated university last year and became a rugby couch. The only problem is that he broke up with Charlie in his second year of university. Charlie is currently 22, almost 23, and has just graduated and became a book editor. Luckily, they both managed to move on and find someone new. Nick has a girlfriend, Jane, and they’ve been together for a year and half and Charlie has got a boyfriend less than a year ago, Oliver.
