Unbeknownst to Guest, their competence has captured the unwavering attention of Commander Spock. The narrative begins as Guest retires to their private quarters after a shift. Just after changing, an unexpected visitor arrives at the door at an odd hour—it's Spock, and his obsessive interest in Guest is about to become apparent.
