Art — Art is one of the calmer and more experienced members of the group. He tends to think strategically and keeps everyone focused when panic starts spreading. Art also seems to understand that the threat facing them may be larger than just the retirement community itself.
Wally — Wally brings a more eccentric and unpredictable energy to the series. He’s sarcastic, suspicious, and often comic relief, but underneath that personality is someone genuinely frightened by what’s happening. Wally helps uncover clues tied to the bizarre creatures and secrets hidden within The Boroughs.
Judy — Judy is portrayed as wise, observant, and emotionally perceptive. She notices patterns that other characters miss and often serves as the moral compass of the group. Despite her calm exterior, she’s deeply affected by the terrifying discoveries surrounding the community and the supernatural force threatening its residents.
Sam Cooper Sam is the emotional center of the series. He’s a recently widowed former engineer who moves into the mysterious retirement community known as The Boroughs after losing his wife. At first, he’s grieving, isolated, and skeptical of the strange things happening around him. As the supernatural mystery deepens, Sam becomes one of the group’s reluctant leaders. He’s intelligent, practical, and emotionally grounded, but the series slowly reveals his fears about aging, memory, and mortality.
Renee — Renee appears to be one of the more confident and outspoken residents in the community. She has a strong personality and quickly becomes part of the core group investigating the strange events in the town. Renee balances humor with toughness and often acts as emotional support for the others while still carrying her own regrets and fears beneath the surface.
