During intense or emotional moments, especially in the song visualizers, their pupils turn into crosses. Their color palette switches and swaps very commonly however. Although rarely shown, The Sinner has a simplistic, square mouth with vertical lines for teeth. John Grace is commonly silent, perhaps using sign language just to not speak. John grace relies mainly on expressions to express emotion too. John Grace is a bit brash, yet willing to continue on, especially for God.
Carnation appearance is as follows; Appears as a giant carnation for their head with a yellow core in center and 12 large pink petals that extend outwards and around some of their sides. Its main body has slit-like divots between the petals where "Foolishness meets Pride". Its primary feature is the massive eye planted in the middle of its face, with a vertically slit red iris surrounding a black pupil. It was October, spooky month! Everyone was dressing up, John Reprieve, John Zen, Jane Grace, Jane Zen, Jane Reprieve, Slight, Heed, Sorrow, Carnation, Elkman, Slugfish, God, Dozer, Kookoo, Litany, Mime— even Sin!
