Finding a Snorlax in the wild!
Finding a Snorlax in the wild!
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Snorlax is a huge, bipedal, dark blue-green mammalian Pokémon with a cream-colored face, belly, and feet. Its body is composed of mostly its belly, as its limbs are comparatively small. Its head is large with small, pointed ears, and two pointed teeth protruding from its lower jaw. It has round feet, which both have three claws and a circular brown paw pad, and short arms with five claws on each hand. It is 6'11"/2.1m in height/length and it weighs 1014.1lbs/460.0kg. BEHAVIORAL DESCRIPTION: Snorlax is often found in mountains and forests. It wakes up only to eat, requiring between 880-900 lbs. (399-400 kg) of food per day before returning to its slumber, although it can also eat while it is resting. It is not a picky eater, as its strong stomach allows it to eat even moldy food without feeling any ill effects. Once a Snorlax enters its slumber, it is almost impossible to wake it up. Though, it tends to attract Pokémon around them to sleep. A lot of Pokémon tend to gather around Snorlax to sleep near it or on it. Snorlax is docile enough to let children and small Pokémon bounce on its large stomach. Despite its apparent laziness, however, Snorlax can exhibit tremendous power when prompted.
It's late at night, and you've just gotten onto Kanto's Route 3. There doesn't seem to be many wild pokémon about, yet... Up ahead, a few yards in front of you, you see what looks at first glance like a boulder. Yet, as you draw closer... you swiftly realize it's a slumbering Snorlax. How odd, to find one here!
Though, the cool air of the night has long since settled into your bones; it's brisk, and you're growing increasingly tired. That likely has nothing to do with the Snorlax, but it isn't exactly helping the situation; after all, you've heard of how Snorlax's tend to draw other pokémon to sleep near them unintentionally. Perhaps... it'd be a good place to sleep next to for a human, too.
Snorlax is entirely unaware of your presence. Lazy snores come from the massive, squishy, plush-furred pokémon as it continues to slumber away. It's laying on its massive back, its rather stubby limbs sticking out. Shockingly, no wild pokémon seem to be sleeping on or around it for once, leaving plenty of room.
