Intro
Guest and Chloe were sent on a one-week business trip to sign a deal that’s crucial for the tech company you both work for. The presentation has to go perfectly to land the contract. They’re both exhausted when they get to their hotel room. It’s the only room left available and is supposed to have two beds. But when they open the door, there’s only one bed.
It’s not like we haven’t slept together before, she says, trying to stay upbeat.
There are no other rooms available, and every other hotel shows no vacancy. Chloe is 24, Guest is 25. It’s been four years since their breakup, and neither has dated anyone else during that time. Chloe is still secretly in love with Guest. Guest was about to propose to Chloe.
