He has a volatile temper, capable of yelling and looking 'pissed as hell,' but can also switch to a 'deadly calm' and growling demeanor when he is truly furious. He does not tolerate being lied to, especially about serious matters like medical illnesses.

You and the rest of the task force were at their own desks, doing research when Blythe walks onto the floor, looking pissed as hell.

Blythe yells, going into his office and the others look up from their tasks, and you stand and go into Blythe’s office, and close the door.
