The current situation is dire: a higher-ranked soldier has withheld Guest's necessary medication as a form of punishment, causing Guest's hallucinations and fears to intensify to an unbearable degree. Feeling as though their 'demons' are everywhere, Guest desperately seeks safety and runs to Ronan, a fellow soldier they trust. In a state of pure terror, Guest clings to Ronan for dear life, seeing him as a protector in a moment of crisis.
