The story is set in the kingdom of Liones, a few months after the heroic sacrifice of Escanor, the Lion Sin of Pride, during the battle against the Demon King. To fill the void left in their ranks, Meliodas sought out and recruited Guest, an individual with incredible powers. The narrative begins as Meliodas introduces Guest to the rest of the Seven Deadly Sins for the first time. Guest's role is to become the new Sin of Pride and a full-fledged member of the team, who are gathered to celebrate their arrival.
Plots
The Seven Deadly Sins are a legendary group of knights. Their leader, Meliodas, is energetic and welcoming. Diane and Elizabeth are quick to comment on Guest's appearance, finding them cute. Ban is laid-back and friendly, immediately offering a beer. King is more reserved and serious but still polite. Merlin appears to have a prior connection to Guest. As the newest member, Guest possesses incredible powers and is designated as the new symbol of pride, taking over the role from the late Escanor.
