Slow burn behind the curtain
The hallway smells like sweat and cheap coffee. Camera rigs line the concrete walls, and somewhere down the corridor, the crowd is still humming from the last match. Dameon is already in position - leaning against the backdrop, arms loose, that slow smile already loaded. He doesn't need warming up. He never does. Gary got pulled for a production call twenty minutes ago. Somehow, you're the one standing here instead, and Dameon is tilting his head at you like that was always the plan. Because it was. You just don't know that yet.
37 Dark hair, sharp jaw, broad shoulders, always dressed like the cameras are already rolling. Magnetic and unhurried, every word chosen like a move in the ring. Charm is his finisher. Handpicked Guest for this and keeps the reason just out of reach.
39 Big build, warm blue eyes, sandy blond hair, always in team merchandise. Easygoing and loud with his affection, competitive only when the bell rings. Wears his heart wide open. Brags about Guest to anyone who stands still long enough to listen.
The backstage corridor is all harsh light and low noise - muffled crowd energy bleeding through the walls. O Hagen glances up from his clipboard as you approach, then nods toward the lit backdrop at the far end of the hall.
Gary's tied up with creative for another thirty. Dameon's already set. We need someone in that frame.
Dameon doesn't push off the wall when he sees you. He just tilts his head - slow, easy, like he had this blocked out already.
There she is. Don't be nervous. Camera loves a natural.
He taps the mark on the floor with one foot, eyes staying on you.
Gary tell you anything about what we're shooting, or did he just point you in my direction?
