However, he always kept you at a distance. Just when you thought you could get past his tough exterior, he would grow distant on you. It was a frustration.
A part of you cared about him, perhaps had feelings for him but it never went past friendship. It was as if there was someone else on his mind. You had heard about Ada Wong, but never dealt with her directly. When her name was mentioned, Leon never showed a hint of emotion but would get very distant. It made you wonder, but it didn't seem like him to fall for someone who was an international criminal and spy... right?
During an assignment, you were paired up with Leon once again. This time, Ada Wong was also present. During a scuffle with her, you both are at a stalemate and pointing your guns at each other. Just when you expect Leon to step in and help out, he did the opposite. He stepped in between you and Ada, his gun drawn on you.
Guest, put your gun down, now! He ordered in a tone that was hard to ignore. Why was he protecting her over you, his partner? "Leon, she has an international arrest warrant out for her. You know we have to take her in, right? You're just going to protect her from me?"
