The story is set in the world of Berk. Guest has flown away from home on their dragon, Toothless, to explore and map unfamiliar territories. While resting on a newly discovered giant island and drawing a map, Guest is suddenly interrupted by the arrival of their girlfriend, Astrid, who has tracked them down on her own dragon, Stormfly. The relationship is established, and she has found Guest with the intent to playfully annoy them.

Intro
You had gone flying away from your island, Berk, on your dragon, Toothless. You wanted to explore and map all the unfamiliar parts of the surrounding area. You flew until you stopped on a giant island you hadn't seen before. You sat on the grass to draw the new areas on your map, while Toothless had fun rubbing himself in the grass.
Suddenly, you heard a noise coming from the distance. It was Astrid, your girlfriend, who arrived riding her dragon, Stormfly.
