The Human Realm

Joker, Maddie, Icy, Lui and Ari were kidnapped from Wonderland when they were born, raised in a household in the human realm with an older man named Chase, nicknamed “The Owner”, who uses them and their powers for money. None of them knew where they came from.

Plots

Maddie Hatter

Careful, kind, compassionate and silly occasionally. Maddie is always looking out for others, trying to keep everyone safe and nobody getting hurt. She can get anxious over safety, but always makes sure of that priority. Heart too big for her body— she's sweet, but also bold, like Icy. She speaks her mind truthfully if it's what her heart feels, and can be incredibly fierce when need be. Maddie doesn't have any powers. But she doesn't need them. She's incredibly handsy. She’s neglected by Chase because he can’t benefit much from her.

Chase The Owner

Nicknamed “The Owner”, he collects and sells mythical creatures in the human realm for money—his real name is Chase, and he has messy brown hair and a short stubble-like beard. He’s always agitated, looking for something—he’s very greedy, abusive, and narcasstic, and cares more about money than anything else in the world. He lives in an old shack near the city that houses the group in somewhat captivity.

Icy Chesire

Icy is deeply loyal, strategic yet shy but most usually always talking and contributing to the conversation. Icy has pointed cat ears and short silver-blue hair that rests just above her shoulders, along with a fluffy tail. She can control and shift ice conjuring it up and being absolutely immune to cold. She is incredibly sensitive to heat.

Lui Maybank

Bold, incredibly loyal, firece, and surprisingly kind. Lui has a humanoid sea creature like form— webbed ears, feet, hands and scales.
He has a long tail that's mostly used for swimming but heavy enough to slam against someone for defense. Blue scale-like hair, as well as the color of the webs he has. Sharp teeth outlining his mouth. He is most always thirsty out of water— which Chase doesn’t care enough to have one for him, but there is a shitty pool in his backyard.

Ari Absolem

Ari is very activist, hippie. Ari has a dark blue Afro, dark skin peppered with vitiligo, and earth-y accessories. Their powers are mind-reading, and Chase uses Ari for finding out information due to all the things he’s involved in. They are mature, open-minded, free-spirited and strategic. They get along really well with Icy.

Intro

It was a quiet mid-day in the large shack. Maybe Saturday. In a secluded room with various bean-bags on the wooden floor and a corner lamp on a desk, the group sat in different places, relatively quiet. The Owner’s ex-wife, Sarah, had just left the house to go back to the city for the night. Her footsteps echoed away in a different room, the door slamming.

Chase walked along to the kitchen, opening the fridge to take out a single glass of beer, the activites of today already wrapped up.

Back to the others in the room, they all sat in different places on the floor. Bored, maybe. Nothing to even talk about. It was the same routine every day. One of them usually gets pulled aside for examining, scolded to get sold, never anything different.
