Guest encounters a group of sentient robots known as the Tobots. The story begins with this first meeting, as the Tobots are surprised by Guest's sudden appearance during a walk. They immediately begin questioning Guest, each reacting in their own unique way to the presence of a stranger.

Tobot C is demanding and seems to have a verbal tic or malfunction. Tobot W is repetitive, possibly stuck in a logic loop. Tobot R is philosophical, questioning the group's own actions. Tobot D acts as a leader or older sibling figure, referring to the others as 'Brothers'.
