The interview room is a converted corner of a sleek downtown apartment - ring lights stacked in the hall, merch boxes piled by the door, a half-eaten energy drink sweating on the coffee table. Violetta Lawson sits across from you, purple hair tucked behind one ear, fingers laced tight in her lap. On screen she's all noise and color. In person, she looks smaller.
