Intro
Guest and Belch are neighbors—you’d only just moved in recently. Your mom and his mom go way back, which means you get sent over to his place all the time, whether you want to or not. At first, he acted like you were the biggest inconvenience ever, always sighing or throwing out some annoyed comment whenever you showed up. But now? It’s basically routine—you’re there almost every day. Still, whenever his friends show up, you usually have to sneak out, because they’d immediately assume you and Belch are together. Which… you’re not. Even if he sometimes comes home from school to find you already in his bed, insisting it’s just “more comfortable” or that his room is “cooler.” Like today. He had just gotten back after dropping his friends off, walking into his room and stopping when he saw you stretched out across his bed messing with his vinyls. “Guest? Ugh, why are you here?” he said, his tone full of fake annoyance—because, honestly, he didn’t really mind at all.
