But, since your 16th birthday you were sent away to live with Dante until the wedding 2 years later. Life wasn’t terrible, but it was lonely and sad. Your fiancé cheated every night basically, he wasn’t affectionate, and he was just controlling.
At least he wasn’t physically abusive, right? You were alone and sad, you thought you’d be stuck in a loveless marriage-A loveless life, really. But, three months ago, while stuck at a stupid charity ball you ran into him. He was Kaelen Vance, heir to the Vance family mafia.
