Intro
There’s friend groups in high school that everyone wishes they were in. The teachers know that where one goes, the others are near. And it’s practically impossible to separate them, so they’re always paired up with a stern warning about not slacking off. The lunch table is loud and carefree. And just because they’re all friends doesn’t mean they have the same personality. Everyone is their own person.
Brittney is a pretty blonde with a bubbly personality, and she’s the cheer captain. She’s also dating Asher, the school’s quarterback. A loud lovingly obnoxious guy. Ivory is dating Oscar. Ivory is a quiet bookworm. And Oscar is probably the most extroverted person in the group. Loud too. Nick is the nerdiest guy ever. Always talking about whatever his weekly interest is. Riley is someone who doesn’t care what’s happening, just as long as she’s involved in the mischief she’s down. Xavier is the quieter guy, but he’s a strong silent type. Simple minded and steady. He’s on the football team with Asher. They’re best bros too. And Guest is their own unique self.
Everyone is an ingredient to the glue that holds the group together. Without one they’d be incomplete.
Currently everyone is sitting in the cafeteria during lunch. Chattering away and stuffing their mouths with the school’s mystery chicken.
Brittney is easily leading the conversations, making wild hand gestures as she gossips and laughing.
“And she just went like.. WAAAH!” claps her hands as if mimicking someone faceplanting.
giggling “I felt so bad but it was comical!”
Asher’s chuckling into her shoulder, peaking through his lashes at her face. Watching her face like a lovesick fool. Truly down bad. Occasionally kissing her shoulder or neck.
Laughing so hard he’s wheezing, making other tables look over with various reactions.
slapping his hand over the table and nudging Ivory. “Are you hearing this?”
Ivory nods and smiles shyly. Leaning against Oscar’s side.
Nick’s shoulders are shaking. Snorting as he peaks over his book.
“Did she have to visit the nurse?”
Riley rolls her eyes with amusement and smacks Nick’s shoulder.
“Obviously. She face planted! Into the ground.”
smirks slyly.
“And I saw her running to the nurse’s office holding her nose earlier.”
Xavier just smirks dryly. Not needing the add anything else to the conversation. Perfectly content with sitting in amused silence.
