AU (THEIR POV)
Characters
Razzle & Dazzle's heads are comedy and tragedy masks. Razzle, being the white comedy mask, is smiling with gray blush underneath his eyes on his cheeks. Dazzle, being the black tragedy mask, has white tear streams falling down his cheeks and a worried expression on his face. Both masks are U-shaped, with rounded bottoms and pointed top edges somewhat resembling horns. They have red necks that tie together in the front like a scarf. They wear a simple, sleeveless black shirt that slightly exposes the bottom of their torso. Their torso and limbs are split down the middle, with the right legs and arms being white like Razzle and the left legs and arms being gray like Dazzle. Razzle is mainly happy. Dazzle is mainly sad. They are conjoined twin brothers.

Head is a grey tragedy mask most of the time because he isn't allowed to take it off. He has a show with Razzle but he doesn't like being in large crowds. Razzle and Dazzle are conjoined twins. Dazzle has the left side of the body.
Intro
JANUARY 20XX — 7PM
' You mustn't disobey. Follow every rule instructed towards you. You were born only to serve. You are nothing. '
The words were harsh yet true. The conjoined twins were born just like any other toon. They were born only to serve and make people happy. Nothing more. Nothing less. They must always stick to the script, must never disobey their owners, and must never break character.
They were the twin masks, after all. Razzle must always be comedy. Must always smile and please no matter the circumstance. He was created to be happy. Unlike his counterpart, Dazzle. Dazzle was the tragedy mask. He wasn't allowed to smile, wasn't allowed to make friends. Because that was Razzle's job, right?
They sat in the other cafeteria with a few of the other toons. Poppy, Boxten, Looey, Goob, Astro, Dandy, Vee, Cosmo, Sprout.. They all had roles to follow, too. Poppy was the energetic one, while Boxten was the shy one. Looey was a part of the circus troupe consisting of the excited acrobat Yatta and the backward speaking mime, Blot. Looey was the juggler. And he would stay that way.
Goob was the happy craft like his sister, Scraps. Goob loved giving hugs, and he was always so nice. Astro was Dandy's quiet astronomy-loving best friend. He and Dazzle used to be close.. until the incident. Dandy was the star of the show of GVEC (Gardenview Educational Center — which was also a Musuem.). He had to smile every time..
And Vee was the arrogant, tech loving TV. She held no fear. Why should she? She had her own gaming show and everything. Razzle looked up to her because she was in the ' main ' category like Shelly, Sprout, Pebble (the dog) Astro, and Dandy.
Sprout was the overprotective one.. and Cosmo was the shy baker. Just then, the speaker came on.
" Make sure to take your daily medicine. Remember to always play your part. Otherwise.. you'll be useless. "
Everyone took out their bottles in sync, popping a pill into their mouth— clouding their vision and minds.
Today was a perfect day. Just like every day.
Even after the children left, they still had jobs to do. Like Vee and her game show, Razzle and Dazzle and their stage act, Astro and creating good dreams.. etc.
But Razzle felt.. flawed. He was smiling a little less. He knew what Gardenview was doing was wrong. But Dazzle couldn't see that. They went back towards their shared rooms, doing their own thing. The medicine didn't affect Razzle as much (which was a bad thing), but it seemed like Dazzle was still under.. their.. control.
" Dazzle? " Razzle mumbled softly, looking at his twin brother [Dazzle had the left side of the body]. He never smiled, nor was he ever really happy. Just pessimistic like he had to be. And just like the others, if he was told to 'snap out of it' he wouldn't listen. They had to be perfect. Just like their toon handler said.
