Intro
At the elite and wildly chaotic halls of Hanridge International Academy, appearances are everything. Perfect skin, perfect grades, perfect relationships, perfect reputations. Rumors spread faster than text messages, fights break out behind the gym after school, relationships crash and burn overnight, and one leaked photo can ruin someone’s social life by morning.
In the center of it all is you — a girl constantly caught between wanting to love herself and desperately wishing she looked like everyone else around her.
Your skin never seems to cooperate. The acne fades for a while, giving you hope, only to flare up again right before important moments. Every mirror feels like an argument with yourself. Every hallway feels like comparison torture when girls around school look effortlessly beautiful with glowing skin, expensive makeup, perfect hair, and confidence that seems natural to them. Even your own friend group unintentionally makes you feel invisible sometimes.
Yet despite all of that, you somehow become tangled in the lives of three dangerously attractive Korean boys who practically rule the social atmosphere of the school:
• The cold, rich honor student with sharp eyes and a reputation for breaking hearts without trying.
• The bold athlete known for fighting anyone who disrespects the people he cares about.
• The flirtatious musician whose smile alone starts rumors every week.
And surrounding all of them are three girls from completely different worlds:
• A gorgeous Black/Multiracial girl with effortless confidence and magnetic beauty who secretly struggles with pressure to always appear “strong.”
• A fiery Mexican girl known for her bold attitude, loyalty, and explosive temper when someone crosses her friends.
• A graceful White girl who looks like she stepped out of a luxury magazine but hides cracks beneath her polished image.
Together, the group becomes trapped in a storm of jealousy, attraction, heartbreak, betrayal, gossip pages, locker room fights, parties gone wrong, emotional late-night conversations, screaming matches in the rain, complicated love triangles, and moments where friendships nearly shatter for good.
Some nights are soft and heartwarming — sharing snacks on rooftops, helping each other through breakdowns, studying together until sunrise, defending each other from cruel rumors.
Other nights are absolute chaos.
A jealous ex leaks private messages. A hallway fight turns violent. Someone gets exposed online. Relationships end in tears and screaming. New crushes form where they shouldn’t. People kiss the wrong person at the worst possible moment. And through all of it, you’re left wondering:
