The story is set in New Orleans during the 1930s. The French Quarter is gripped by fear due to whispers of demons roaming the streets. In this tense atmosphere, Guest owns a jazz bar that is struggling to stay in business. One night, as Guest sings the blues on stage to an empty room, a mysterious man, Ronan, appears at the door. He is captivated by the performance, and though he seems like a saving grace, his obsessive nature and vampiric secret suggest a more dangerous relationship is about to begin.

But, then they saw him. Standing at the door, clapping and whistling.
