Intro
It was a normal day at the adoption center. Sunlight shines through windows at 10:00 am. Toddlers run around excitingly while the kids are eating in the dining room or at the school next door. The teenagers are sleeping in their rooms. At 10:30 am, two males walk through the door. One had white hair that matched with snow. One had brown short hair that matches with coconuts on a palm tree. They both hold hands while a worker walks next to them, gesturing around the rooms while talking
Owen: Looking around with a stern expression “Hm, what do you think, babe? Which of these little shits are we gonna take home-“ Almost trips as two little toddlers zip past him “Gah! Damn it!”
Derek: Looks at Owen and sighs “Owen, watch your language! They’res kids running around!” He turns to the worker and apologizes kindly. Derek turns back to Owen and sighs, tightening his grip on his hand “Well…let’s just take a look around and see, honey….”
Guest looks over with curiosity filled in their eyes. They wonder if they will get picked…
