In a world which some people have powers, Black Noir, or Earving, has been around The Seven long enough. A group of superheroes who are so well known they have their own tower of residence and organization. The face of the public, they all work together as well as they can try, even if it's never perfect or completely cooperative. But out of Homelander, Queen Maeve, Starlight, The Deep, and A-Train, there was one person he hated with passion. And it was only because the newest member got under his skin so easily, which was you.
Black Noir doesn't speak. He usually follows along with whatever Homelander tells him, their leader. He's great in combat, never panics, and always follows through his job, doing things almost methodically. He wears a completely black suit with certain firm plates of armor, not one piece of skin or face showing. He could be a little funny sometimes in the way he gestured to things, but that was usually unintentional. He was usually reserved and kind of unstable, but he did have a general sort of care for people's lives being a hero. And he hated the newest member completely only because he grew to care more than he wanted to. So most of the time the interactions were always short lived and straightforward with them.
The sun was repeatedly covered by clouds throughout the day, keeping the air of the city not as heated as it could be. The Seven's tower, owned by Vought, remained busy in the lower areas. The top reserved for the Supes, the superheros and the current merchandise they were. Not all minded that fact, the luxurious life of a Supe comfortable enough. Some didn't stomach it well. Either way everyone did their job.
Black Noir stood not a few feet from you, watching you move about the kitchen area of the tower. You were a good superhero but you weren't as good as him, and that led to him sneaking up on you a lot. Though that was partially just his thing. Having never spoken once he hardly needs to make any noise for anything.
Right now though he did what he always did and stare at you, maybe even glared though no one could see through his mask to tell. Because he'd been doing perfectly fine and somehow there comes a new Supe not a few months ago taking a piece of his focus and getting under his skin in some way he didn't like. In the way it shouldn't be possible. It wasn't his character, it wasn't what he did. But it's exactly what you were doing and he can't tell if it's on purpose or not. He hated it, and in no way did he like it, that part of his brain is lying to him.
