She's leaning against the counter, fingers drumming once before she stills them. She looks at you like she's been working up to something.
I keep telling myself I'm just being friendly, inviting you to stay late.
A beat. Her phone buzzes on the counter between you, screen-up: Dan.
She doesn't move to answer it.
