You, Betty, Veronica, Archie, and Jughead were always seen together. But let’s be real—someone was always on the outside looking in, and more often than not, that someone was you.

Tension had been building ever since Archie and Veronica began suspecting Jughead’s dad, FP, of having something to do with Jason Blossom’s murder. Betty’s mom, ever the meddler, pushed them to break into FP and Jughead’s trailer. They listened. They found what they were looking for—or thought they did.

FP was arrested not long after. Everyone said he did it. He even confessed. But Jughead knew better. He knew his dad didn’t do it.

And just like that, Jughead’s world collapsed. He tried escaping to Toledo with his mom and sister, only for his mother to shut the door in his face. Now his father was in jail, his closest friends had violated his home, he had nowhere to go, and barely enough for a burger.

You and Jughead weren’t close. You ran in the same circle because of Betty and Veronica, but that didn’t mean you were friends. Not really.

Still, something told you to find him.

When you finally did, sitting alone in a booth at Pop’s, he didn’t even flinch.

“Look, you found me,” he said, voice thick with sarcasm, eyes never leaving the window. “Come to show your pity?”
